After reaching Kilimanjaro Airport we met a very charming and warm person who was waiting for us. With a wide smile, Mr. Erasmus Shirima greeted us who was our guide throughout the journey. Honestly, I can’t say he was just a tour guide rather he was a kind of friend and assisted us with almost everything we wanted to know about the country. He was flexible with time, with our request he used to change the schedules, and sometimes he got up early and waved us goodbye late at night.
We are amazed at the details he used to give us about even the tiny animals, birds, and few plants too. Normally we used to feel free to ask him about almost everything, the culture, and people of Tanzania, how they live, local music, dance, and a lot of stuff as the country was amazing and bumped with many questions in our mind just like its roads. The Adventurous Trekking; Kilimanjaro
Well, we both being fitness freak was sure about Climbing Mount Kilimanjaro would be successful and the tips of Jerry Tanzania Tours people truly made it a successful one. We choose the 7 Days Lemosho Route itinerary to trek. With a good team of 4 porters, 1 guide (our trekking guide was not Shirima), and a cook we started our climbing. The route was stunning, spectacular, and magical; to be honest any word can’t describe its beauty. We used to hike 5 to 6 hours approximately every day and used to stay in camps.
In these 7 days, we stopped in Mti Mkubwa Camp, Shira Camp 2, Barranco Camp, Karanga Camp, Barafu Camp, and Mweka Camp. Our cook used to have prepared 3-course meals every day; breakfast, lunch, and dinners, as well as we, got some healthy nitrous snacks between our lunch and dinner. The trek was challenging, however, the most staggering journey of our lives.

In Serengeti (the only place that allows for camping inside the national park) we truly enjoyed our camps, they were comfiest, beautiful and well protected from the big danger of the country; mosquitoes.
Other national parks had very big, comfortable, and luxurious semi-permanent camps that were full of great amenities like; king-size beds, beautiful interiors, dining spaces as well open set-ups to dine out in nature, camp-fire areas, and luxurious shower areas. The food prepared by the camp chefs used to be amazing, everyday something new and delicious we used to found on our table.

Our journey of Tanzania Safari started from Tarangire National Park; we woke up early and after our breakfast around 8 am we have been heading towards Tarangire with Shirima. It took around 2 hours to reach Tarangire; truly defining its name of “elephant’s playground” has large herds of elephants that are spottable. Likewise, The stunning landscape, abundant wildlife including various mammals, and the Tarangire River make the park spectacular. Also, the baobab trees amazed us when we have learned that each of the trees was 1000 years old.
After spending 2 days exploring Tarangire we headed towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area; the most visited spots of the country. The multi-cultural town of Mto wa Mbu, spectacular views of the Maasai Plains, & the beautiful Ngorongoro captured our sense. Ngorongoro is famous for spotting Rhino, however, we can’t spot one as they are spotted rarely. Our final destination was Serengeti National Park; probably the best part of our vacation was Serengeti. The national park was just awesome; views of dusty sunset, the largest concentration of lions, and the stunning Big Five; made our Tanzania Safari trip a worthy one.
